Latest visa systems for Pakistani passport holders — updated for 2026. Categories can change; always confirm before you travel.
Key changes that affect Pakistani travellers right now.
UK visit visas are now issued as a digital eVisa. You still apply online, give biometrics at VFS and provide a TB test — the visa is simply held digitally in a UKVI account instead of a passport sticker.
ETIAS (launching late 2026) is only for visa-exempt nationalities. Pakistani passport holders are not covered and still need a full Schengen visa for Europe.
Kenya now uses an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) for all visitors, including Pakistanis — applied online before departure instead of a sticker visa.
Pakistani travellers can get the Turkey e-Visa online only if they hold a valid Schengen, UK, US or Ireland visa; otherwise a sticker visa from the embassy is required.
ESTA (USA), eTA (Canada), ETA/eVisitor (Australia) and NZeTA are for visa-waiver countries. Pakistanis need a full visitor visa for each.
UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain now issue e-Visas online (often via sponsor, hotel or airline) — fast and paperless when done correctly.
